Film Festival reViews Archives Episode 01 Tribeca Film Festival 2006, with interviews and commentary from filmmakers; Laurence Asseraf, executive director of the Tribeca Underground Film Festival, a short film showcase and one of the first stereoscopic film festival still in existence (BeFILM); and Rob Moretti, executive producer of the Montclair International Film Festival that was held in the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey with interesting insights and an awards package of a distribution deal for the filmmakers. Unheard of at the time.
This is one of the first podcasts that stayed in the Film Festival reViews Archive Library and as I look back on where I’ve been and what I’ve done, I look ahead to 2016. Currently, the Montclair Film Festival is in its 5th year– continuing in its growth for programming and competition. Last year, I was invited to be on the jury for the New Jersey Films Competition and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Tribeca Film Festival is in its fifteenth year, on the cutting edge and full of surprises. Stay tuned.
