Reel Jersey Girl Film Exhibit at Fort Lee Museum highlighted the role of women filmmakers such as Pearl White, Mary Pickford and Alice Guy Blache, the first women director in cinema history, built and opened her Solax Studio in Fort Lee in 1912.

The first sex symbol of the American silver screen, Theda Bara worked at Fox Studio in Fort Lee from 1915-1919.  This exhibit will showcase archival photos from Theda Bara’s personal scrapbook. Film historian, Joe Yranski, lent these photos for this exhibit.
